Importing Microsoft Project files to Jira
You can import tasks from Microsoft Project as Jira issues by clicking Data ⇒ MS Project import on the operations bar.
In order to use this function, you need to have global administrator permission to "Bulk change" issues .
Each Microsoft Project field is imported as Jira issue field with the following conversion table. The destination Jira field of the planned dates (Start Date, Finish Date, Baseline Start Date, and Baseline Finish Date) and % Complete varies depending on the configurations in the WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira.

Resource | Assignee | Searches users registered in Jira in order of "Username" and "Full name." If there is a match, the matched user is selected as the assignee. The import will fail if the selected user does not have "Assignable" permission. |
