You will want to link tasks with Confluence pages, Jira issues, or other contents. Gantt chart tasks can have a web link links to arbitrary URLs. If tasks have a web linklinks, you can go to the URL when you click the task name.

You can also edit web links with the task editor. The web link field is under the advanced tabtask.
