To prevent unintentional interactions with enhance the viewing experience of Excel-like Tables for Confluence while viewing the[ on Confluence pages, we've introduced a new feature: we’ve introduced the Lock Actions in View Mode feature. This feature ensures that users can view the spreadsheet without accidentally performing any actions, such as scrolling within the table or making unintended edits.

How It Works

When this feature is enabled, users will have the ability to view the spreadsheet without the risk of interacting with or altering the content for example scrolling confluence page.

How to Toggle Lock Actions in View Mode

You can enable or disable this feature through two simple methods:

  1. Using the Context Menu

  2. Using the Operation Bar

1. Lock/Unlock Actions via Context Menu

To toggle the lock via the context menu:

  • Right-click on the spreadsheet while in view mode.

  • Select Lock Actions menu to enable it

2. Lock/Unlock Actions via the Operation Bar

To toggle the lock via the operation bar:

  • Use the operation bar at the bottom of the spreadsheet interface.

  • Click on the Lock Actions icon to enable or Unlock Actions to disable the feature.
