There are two ways to create a table:
From the page view.
From the page edit.
Page view mode
Go to any Confluence page, then click the Excel-like Tables for Confluence icon at the top left right menu. The app dialog will be displayed, and you choose how you want to create the table.

In page edit mode, type ‘/excel’, then the Excel-like Tables macro will appear in the list.
