Before installation

If you are upgrading Jira at the same time as WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira, please ensure that you upgrade WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira first. If you upgrade Jira first, this may lead to data errors.

Install

1. Select Add-ons from the administration drop down list from the settings on the top right-hand side of your screen.
2. Select Find new add-onsnew apps on the left side of the add-ons screen.
3. Enter WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira in the search box.
4. Click the Buy Now or Free Trial buttons. 

Upgrade

1. Select Add-ons from the administration dropdown list from the settings on the top right-hand side of your screen.
2. Select Manage add-onsapps from the add-ons menu on the left. 
3. Select WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira on the right-hand side of your screen.
4. Click Update. Confirm that the installation has been successful.
    

Manual installation or upgrade

When your Jira instance is not connected to the Internet, for example, you have to install the add-on manually from your client machine. The following instructions are common between installation and upgrade. 

1. Visit Version history in Atlassian Marketplace and download the version you want to use. 
   
2. Go to Jira and select Add-ons from the administration dropdown list from the settings on the top right-hand side of your screen.
3. Select Manage add-onsapps from the add-ons menu on the left. 
4. Select Upload add-onapp on the right-hand side.
5. Choose the downloaded file and click Upload. Confirm that the installation has been successful.

Configuring the license key

You must enter a license key to use WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira.

1. Select Add-ons from the administration dropdown list from the settings on the top right-hand side of your screen.
2. Select Manage add-onsapps from the add-ons menu on the left.
3. Select WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira on the right-hand side of your screen.
   
4. Enter your license key.
5. Click Update.

Important notice

Seven modules of WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira are disabled. This is not a bug. It ensures that WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira is compatible with Jira. 

Uninstall

1. Select Add-ons from the administration dropdown list from the settings on the top right-hand side of your screen.
2. Select Manage add-onsapps from the add-ons menu on the left.  
3. Select WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira on the right-hand side of your screen.
4. Click Uninstall.
5. Click Continue. 
6. Confirm that the uninstallation has been successful.
