Warning message "Configuration setting may not be completed", how to solve this?

Question

When I open the app, Jira gets the Warning message “Configuration setting may not be completed. Please contact your Jira administrators” every time. How to solve this?



Answer

The app must need to save some settings to ensure you’re using the proper date format from your timezone, so to review this setting, please refer to the following steps:

  1. Go to Jira top navigation menu bar → Jira settings ⚙️

  2. Apps

  3. Configuration under Issue Editor section

  4. Click on Save button

  5. Check if the message will disappear

From now on, the app shouldn’t display the Warning message anymore.
