When you create a version in WBS Gantt-Chart, you need to have the following configuration in the WBS Gantt-Chart display settings.

  1. No version is not selected.
  2. Exclude versions that do not have subordinate issues is not checked.

You can create a version from the contextual menu or from the operations toolbar.

To create from the contextual menu

  1. Right-click on the project.
  2. Select Add ... ⇒  Version.

To create from the operations toolbar

  1. Select the project row.
  2. Select Add  ⇒ Version on the toolbar.

The name of the created version is "Version of project name".
Also, the start date / release date is set as the date of creation (when the initial planned date in the issue configuration is set as the date of creation).

Editing a version

You can edit the name, start date and release date (finish date) of versions on the WBS display. To edit a version, double-click the item in the WBS display, or drag the Gantt bar.

Deleting a version

As with creating a version, you can delete a version from the contextual menu or from the operations toolbar.

To delete from the contextual menu

  1. Right-click the version.
  2. Select Delete.

To delete from the operations toolbar

  1. Select the version row.
  2. Select Delete ⇒ Version on the toolbar.

If you delete a version, any issues which are subordinate to the version will not be displayed on the WBS display. Please reload WBS Gantt-Chart to see them again.
