Importing Microsoft Project files to Jira

If you are using Jira 8.4.0 - 8.4.1 Data Center, using this feature will cause an error and will not import issues.

This problem is caused by the following bugs in Jira and has been fixed in Jira 8.4.2 Data Center.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-69968

You can import tasks from Microsoft Project as Jira issues by clicking DataMS Project import on the operations bar.
In order to use this function, you need to have global administrator permission to "Bulk change" issues .

Each Microsoft Project field is imported as Jira issue field with the following conversion table. The destination Jira field of the planned dates (Start Date, Finish Date, Baseline Start Date, and Baseline Finish Date) and % Complete varies depending on the configurations in the WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira.
