Space Sync for Confluence allows you to push pages to the destination spaces.

Steps to sync content

  1. Go to the page you want to push.

  2. Open the Page sync status dialog.

  3. Click the “Push” button.

If the push button dissaper, you don’t have the permission to push the page.
Please ask the space administrator to grant you to sync pages.

Currently, SSC overwrites the destination page when pushing.
So, if the destination page has updated content that hasn’t been pushed, it will be gone by pushing your page.
If you’re in a situation about to overwrite the destination updating, you will get a warning in the status dialog.

Page sync status

You can check the page sync status from the dialog as well; each row represents the destination space.

Quick access link to synced pages

For internal sync

You’ll see the hyperlink to the corresponding page in the destination space. This link will redirect to the synced destination, so you don’t have to spend time searching for it.

For external sync

Space admins will need to configure the quick access link. This is to limit the site access requests by unauthorized users.

The quick access link needs to be configured on both sites. As the space admin, you can control whether users can access the external synced space.

  1. Go to Space settings > App links > Synced spaces list

  2. Select the desired external synced space and open the Edit configuration setting

  3. Enable the quick access link

On the Page sync status dialog, the link to external space is now enabled and you’ll see the EXT label indicating the external site as well.

Allow SSC to access restricted pages

Confluence has the ability to restrict page access. If you add restrictions to pages you will sync, you have to allow Space Sync for Confluence to view/edit the pages.
