Creating a WBS

Here we show you how to identify the tasks required for completing a project and to display them in WBS format.

Creating a version

If you already know the tasks that are required for the project, you can create a version.

  1. Right-click on the project.

  2. Select Add ⇒ Version.

  3. Double-click on Project / Version / Issue of the version you have created.

  4. Enter the version name.

  5. Click Save on the operations toolbar. 

If you have trouble creating a WBS

If nothing happens when you try to Add ⇒ Version, it may be that the WBS Gantt-Chart settings do not allow the creation of a new version.

Creating an issue

Create an issue for a Jira issue as follows:

  1. Right-click the task (project, version, or issue).

  2. Select Menu:

    1. If you want to create an issue on the same node, select Copy and paste;

    2. If you want to create a successor issue on the same node, select Add ⇒ Successor issue;

    3. If you want to create an issue on a child node, select Add ⇒ Child issue.

  3. Double-click on Project / Version / Issue of the issue you have created.

  4. Enter the issue name.

  5. Click Save on the operations toolbar.
